Product comes unfinished — this means it is not painted and does not include paper or embellishments. It’s a blank canvas ready for your creativity! Our unfinished MDF craft kits give you complete freedom to paint, stain, decoupage, or customize however you choose.

All Crafty Little You products are made from high-quality Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and precision-cut using professional-grade lasers and CNC machines. This ensures clean, detailed edges and ultra-smooth surfaces that are perfect for painting and finishing.

Our MDF comes in a variety of thicknesses ranging from 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch, providing the right strength and durability for a wide range of DIY wood craft projects — from layered frames to dimensional home décor pieces.

We proudly use a higher-grade MDF than what you’ll typically find at local big box stores. Ours is smoother, cleaner, and more consistent — making it ideal for acrylic paint, wood stain, vinyl, and decoupage.

Because our pieces are laser cut, you may occasionally notice light laser marks on the edges. This is completely normal with laser-cut MDF crafts. Any minor imperfections can be easily smoothed with a quick sanding using 220-grit sandpaper, leaving you with a perfectly paint-ready surface.
